Cross Fever Hits the Central Coast
Friday, January 9th, 2009

Talley VineCross, Race #2: SoCal'Cross Fever Series:

SLO County's cyclocross debut is about to unfold at Talley Vineyards in Arroyo Grande on Sunday January 11th, and it's sure to be a great competition and one big CX party!   All details, including lodging discounts at Best Western Inn are at www.cencalcycling.com.

Compete on a course that takes you on an adventure through the Talley farmland and vineyards.  This 1.8- mile circuit consists of dirt roads looping through the valley floor and several terrace areas.  Challenging climbs, fun descents, and several natural barrier sections consisting of grassy culvert crossings dot the course.

Family, friends, and fans are all welcome to enjoy a truly spectator-friendly course, a family-style BBQ, and great deals on wine by the glass in the courtyard. Scan the circuit on high from the comfort of the tasting terrace or meander among the vines at your favorite turn on the course.   CX bikes available for demo, as well as a Kids' Kross race and Fun Race at the end of the day.

Cash Prizes to Men 1/2/3, Women 1/2/3, and Masters 35+ Men AND Women.  Great merchandise prizes from Time Sports, Fluid Recovery, Voler Team Apparel, Kool N Fit Sport, Protech Skincare, Vitalyte Hydration Drink and more!
